Little House and the Woods is a scribbled, coffee-stained journal of a blog. It documents the heart of a mother (imperfectly) seeking simplicity, sainthood, and beauty from a home out in the country. Here you'll find recipes, book recommendations, homeschooling tidbits, personal stories, theological musings, and the occasional adventure in decorating. Linger awhile, won't you?
Ana Woods is a former photographer turned stay-at-home mother and freelance writer. She lives with her growing family in the country and writes reflections on faith, homemaking, and motherhood (often by moonlight, after the babies are tucked in bed).
"Sanctity is a disposition of the heart which makes us humble and small in the arms of God, conscious of our weakness, and confident to the point of audacity in the goodness of our Father." - Saint Therese
